Best tips for

grooms

Grooms Quick Checklist

  1. Vows- DO NOT forget your vows, and even if you have memorized your script it is always wise to have a hard copy with you just in case you stumble during crunch time.
  2. Wedding Documents- You should have your marriage license or other important wedding documents with you.
  3. Extra Shirt & Pants- An extra shirt and pants as a back up can be a life saver you never know when a stain or tear will happen.
  4. Sewing Kit- Just in case you get a small rip you can quickly mend it on the fly.
  5. Extra Cuff Links- Have extra cuff links just in case you drop one down the drain or anywhere and can't find it.
  6. Extra Tie- Another cravat, tie or bow tie can ease up pressure / stress if something should happen to your original.
  7. Boutonniere- Normally your florists will deliver these to the hotel or venue, just don't forget to put it on before heading down the aisle.
  8. Cell Phone- Just in case you need to get a hold of a grooms man or reach your planner for anything.
  9. Food & Water- Make sure you eat a good meal leading up the ceremony & reception and Keep hydrated since your day will be long and full of excitement.
  10. Aspirin & Toiletries- It is wise to pack some aspirin just in case you get a surprise headache. Also make sure to pack toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrush & floss to make sure those pearly whites are ready for your snap shots and your beautiful bride.

  2. Hairspray or Hair Accessories- This will help keep your hair perfect for the duration of the day and if you need a touch up it is always at quick spray away. Also have some bobby pins, hair bands, hair clips etc.
  3. Makeup and Mirror-  A makeup kit could be essential for last minute touch ups.
  4. Food & Water- Make sure you eat a good meal leading up the ceremony & reception and Keep hydrated since your day will be long and full of excitement.
  5. Cell Phone & Important Numbers- It is important to have a list of all your vendors contact information just in case something happens, you may also need it to contact your wedding party.
  6. Comfortable Shoes or Flip-Flops- Wearing heels all day can make your feet hurt so it is good to have a change of shoes just in case you need it. We advice wearing comfy shoes before and after.
  7. Sewing Kit- You never know when you might need to make and emergency stitch to your dress.
  8. Garters- Make sure you have 2 garter's one for your leg and one for the garter toss.
  9. Toothpaste/Toothbrush/Floss- You are looking Fabulous at this point and you want your smile to match that, if you eat anything before the ceremony make sure to brush after.
  10. Kleenex- You never know when you might need to wipe some joyful tears.
